Corkin Construction Roofing Specialists
My name is Lee Corkin, managing director of Corkin Construction Limited. I have been in the roofing industry for over twenty years, working on projects ranging in value from £100 to over £2 million both ‘on the tools’ and in project management positions.In this time I have been lucky enough to work with some of the best and some of the worst that the roofing industry has to offer. This has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience in most types of roofing as each person I have worked with I have learnt from. This knowledge has given me the opportunity to develop a roofing company that delivers what it promises when it promises it.
To enable us to effectively work nationwide I keep a small office, strategically located in North Hertfordshire with a few key members of staff who work very hard out of the office ensuring all our jobs run efficiently and we keep our high standards maintained.
With the exception of the company secretary, all the staff have worked as roofers in the past and I believe it’s important that both they and I remember what we do and how to do it! I feel the only way to really do this is whenever we have the opportunity we pull on our work boots and assist on site with the regular workforce. I personally don’t claim to be able to keep up with our current roofers, but it’s not unusual to find myself, or one of my colleagues preparing a roof or carrying out minor repairs and small works.
